Salarrué The white nun in the family
has always been crazy, the branch of my maternal grandfather had one in each generation, always speculating who was going to play. I remember a picture of my grandfather, "The White Sister", a portrait of his aunt who died totally insane in a convent, then Emilio was the guy who was very normal but went crazy for a heartbreak, and Uncle Rafael was not quite sane, he suffered from delusions of persecution and thought everyone wanted to kill him, even his family suspected, then there was a cousin of my grandfather, I forget his name, who was in the asylum, then it fell to my aunt Maya (sister of my mother) that she was very bright but somewhat unbalanced and died thinking he was an Arab man. My maternal grandmother also had a nephew in the asylum, Rolando, who was the brother of Alicia Lardé the wife of John Nash (Nash of "A Beautiful Mind") and say he had a tremendous force, his favorite pastime was starting fees and the bathroom sink at a stretch. It seems in my generation and there is no fool, but who knows, I'm half off of the family. Is it normal that all families are crazy or is it just mine?
